Valérie and Jean-Pierre Brunet moved to the US twelve years ago from France. He, a program manager, she a stay-at-home mom, they share a passion for traditional French food, the kind which warms your heart in Winter and makes your taste buds sing in Summer.

Every time they went back to France, Valérie and Jean-Pierre found themselves lugging back huge quantities of edible goods in their suitcases. Unfortunately, this didn’t include runny Reblochon cheeses or pork saucisson... Still, there had to be a better way. They quickly realized that they weren’t the only French family craving products from their home country, and also noticed that there was a growing interest in purchasing authentic, directly imported French goods from a reliable source. Thus Le Panier Francais was born as an easy, cost-effective way to bring only the best French products to any household across the USA. From a handful of products in 2009, Le Panier Francais grew to a catalog of 40+ products today. These include anything from canned meats to sweets, spices and even gorgeous tablecloths and kitchen towels from Provence.
