With French Crêpe Mix all you need is milk and a recipe to make your very own fabulously French crepes! If you like sweet crepes, you can use jam, powdered sugar, fresh fruit or maybe a little Teisseire fruit syrup.

Each box makes 24 sweet crepes, they’re perfect for breakfast and you get to fill them yourself! Spread a little Nutella on it or mix in a cup of buckwheat flour and have a savory treat that you can fill with breakfast meats, eggs and more. Mix in some herb cheese, some onion, layer your crepes and make something different!

If you’ve been trying to make crepes on your own with pancake mix but you just can’t get the mix right, this French Crêpe Mix is what you’re missing! Not too thick, not too runny, paper thin enough to layer so you can roll them, fold them, stack them and fill them with whatever you like!

Crepes are associated with Brittany, in the North of France – and wherever you turn in France you’ll find crepes, but making crepes can be hard even the most seasoned chef. With French Crêpe Mix from Francine anyone can make crepes, give it a try.

Directions:

1 - You will have to pour the mix with Milk (50cl per bag, so 16.9 Oz per bag, if you use the 2 bags then you'll have to double up the milk, so 1 liter for the 2 bags) , and use a manual batter to mix eveything. Make sure that it's fluid as a result.

2 - Add a large spoon of oil like sunflower oil (10g), not olive oil. You don't need to have the mix to stay in the fridge for 24 hours, you can use it right away if you wish.

3 - Make sure that you heat the pan before pouring the mixed result, and also you need to use salted butter or oil to grease the pan before cooking.

4 - Just cook it, and make sure that the crepes is not going to be too thick and make sure that it starts to be brown. when the sides starts to do not attach to the pan, this means that you can return it to cook the other side.

We personally use salted butter it's better to grease the pan instead of oil.
Generally the first couple of crepes are not a great result, but the followings will be better, since you'll have adapted the thickness, heat of the pan and amount of grease needed.

    If you are not into making your own mix for French crepes, this is it. Follow the directions, and depending the thickness desired you may add a little bit more milk. It comes out really good and pain free.
    The Key is to have a good pan that does not stick.
