  1. Amazing Flour - Doesn't Make Me Sick!

    I recently traveled to Paris and found that I could eat their delicious baguettes without succumbing to digestive issues as I do here in the states. I did some research and found that not only is European flour devoid of additives/chemicals that US products have, the fermentation process in making sourdough actually makes gluten easier to digest. I am now making my own baguettes with this beautiful flour. Yes, it is a process, but so very worth it!

    We cannot eat the flour in the US due to Glyphosates and possibly the
    hybridization of the grain. Anyway with this flour we can eat bread and pastries again. Hope it comes back in stock soon. It is T45. The organic version is T55.


  3. Great Flour, but be aware it is T45 and not T55

    I bought this based on the indication it is all-purpose flour and believed it would be T55. All purpose flour in France is generally T55. Also strange that the actual bags clearly say T45 under "Tous Usages" yet in the online picture the T45 is missing. Not sure why, but it led me to purchase it thinking it was T55. That said, the flour is absolutely superb and has led to fantastic baguettes. Many online commentators say T45 is only good for pastries, but they are wrong, this flour makes amazing baguettes. So I am overall pleased, but would think the online picture and description should be more clear that this is T45 flour so people can make an informed purchasing decision. I gave 4 stars for this reason.

    First I have to say the service lapanier Francais provides is beyond five stars. I received fantastic communication about my order, was kept updated throughout the process and my package was shipped immediately after ordering. After being diagnosed with celiac disease 7 years ago, I have missed bread and pastries quite a bit. But after visiting France twice since then, I noticed I didn't have the same reaction to eating bread there. Once I returned home I started researching the differences between American and French wheat and I found that France has stricter food regulations, not allowing any genetically modified wheat crops to be grown there. So not only does this flour make amazing tasting breads and cakes, it's much healthier to eat. I made a coffee cake with this flour for some guests last weekend and they absolutely loved it. Not a crumb was left. Everyone wanted the recipe but obviously they need the secret ingredient to make it so amazing.

    I made the best baguettes of my life with this, proving to friends and family that white bread can be flavorful and crispy even with a thin crust. It brought me great joy to find this as I have been unable to find good French flour in the U.S. It allowed me to finally demonstrate to friends and family what bread is supposed to taste like. It's not just something that wraps a sandwich. This also makes great crepes, cookies, croissants, and cake.

    I tried this flour when making homemade biscuits. I used high quality butter from Belgium and combined with this flour, they were the best biscuits I and my family ever had! Delicieuse!

    For those like me who have had negative health effects from using wheat products from the U.S, flour from France is very safe and healthy. France, Germany, and Italy do not use pesticides.

    I finally found French flour since I moved to the USA 11 years ago.
    I just made some palmiers with Francine all purpose flour. The dough was perfect and the palmiers came out better than ever!
    Thanks for giving us access to French products here in the USA.
