Seen On Martha Stewart Show

Our Lavender Honey featured on the Martha Stewart show!

Earlier this month, Jean-Pierre and Valérie, the dynamic duo behind Le Panier français, traveled to New York to be featured on the mother of all cookery shows, hosted by none other than kitchen fairy extraordinaire, Martha Stewart. One of Martha’s team members had gotten in touch with us some time before and we jumped at the chance to appear on the show and showcase one of our products.

Out of the array of products featured on the site, we chose to place our Lavender Honey in the spotlight because, well, it is delicious, nutritious and harvested according to a natural method by a family-led business in the Luberon, a region of Provence. A star product on Le Panier français for sure! We placed the purple-accented jar (reminiscent of lavender) in an even prettier gift bag and delighted Martha Stewart’s audience when close to 200 bags were handed out to them.

An exciting venture for us here at Le Panier français but this is just the beginning as we look to get our delicious French products out there over the coming months.

If you like all things, sweet, natural and a bit sticky, the Lavender Honey is of course available on our site

As summer rolls around, you’ll find yourself reaching for it over and over again; it is easily incorporated into plenty of recipes. Whisk a good spoonful of aromatic Lavender Honey into a pot of crème fraîche and pour over seasonal fruit such as strawberries and raspberries, or use as a sauce to accompany pancakes, ice cream or apple pie. Délicieux!

But if you’d rather go down the savory route, we suggest using it in a marinade. Trickle a spoonful of Lavender Honey into a bowl along with olive oil, lemon, garlic and other herbs of your choice. Place meat or poultry in a tray and add the marinade. Let it sit for two hours then heat up the grill for a delicious summer barbeque!

Fun fact: Lavender Honey is also a natural antiseptic and helps scar tissue healing.
